Speaking of Terminal 5, to me it has that Madmax Thunderdome feel anyone else feel that way? With the three tiers and masses hanging over the rails and some sitting dangling their feet. Curious what Mr C thinks of the venue.

I'd go to that show.

Isn't that the latest U2 show?

It's a promo shot from the Spiderman production. I believe U2 is/was involved.

It's the Yin and the Yang. I don't see how one could resist.

Now blowing off the Pogues on Jimmy's Day to see the Wolfetones (God only knows what version) ... I'm pretty sure that's a crime.

which is the yin and which is the yang though? has shane messed up a show yet on this tour? he always messes up one doesnt he, so tonight is the night. That covers band might not be such a bad idea.

I was at the show tonight, and it was AMAZING!
I was the overgrown leprechaun looking guy with the red hair beard- not that I would expect anyone to have noticed such details, but just in case anyone looked around and has an brilliant memory.
In any case, it was absolutely delightful, and as a added plus, I got to help the fairly small girl in front of me from getting crushed.

You guys are amazing! Happy Jimmy Cagney Day!

--Oh, also, I got a drumstick after the show- Thanks crew guy who handed me the drumstick!

Hi to those I met this evening,
figured this might be a more meaningful name for me,
especially since most people were under the impression that blownspeakers was a dude :)

It was wonderful meeting you all and hanging out afterwards.
I'll post my pics in the extremely near future.

take care everyone!

my pictures and videos came out wonderfully, will post them this evening.

p.s. remember when i said i had to be up at 6:45? take a wild guess what time i jolted awake at...

pogues spade shirt?

Post Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:22 pm

Hey, this is kind of a shot in the dark but well worth a try ...

Was at the show last night & bought the wrong shirt for bf. I bought the white pogues shirt with drawing on the front, when he really wanted the black pogues shirt with a spade on it (very similar to the 2009) shirt available in the USA shop online.

If anyone has a L or XL, I can switch you for the white shirt or buy outright. Please let me know. In my drunken stupor I messed up.

Thanks.

barely, but i have no regrets.... well, except maybe for not calling a substitute in for me on friday.

anyway after a great deal of effort i think i've got all my videos up! and i've conveniently grouped them into a youtube playlist along with all my videos from previous years. my apologies for the brevity of some of the earlier clips, that was back before you could get 16gb memory cards or whatever they have now.

i can't seem to find my vids from 2009, but if i do i'll throw those in too.

enjoy!

EDIT: couldn't get the link to work last night: here it is.
