We took the kids to see Nanny McPhee tonight. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised!

My Blue Heaven starring Steve Martin and Rick Moranis. Good movie.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

Night On Earth (by Jim Jarmusch)

Watched it in an almost empty cinema with just a handful of other folks around, two of them being a passionately kissing couple who hardly paid attention to the outside world, other four the Czech president with his wife and two tough bodyguards. Which changes nothing about the fact that the movie was great. :-)
