I'm sorry to hear that Patrice, really am. The 2006 show is hardly a benchmark, but you HAVE been to a Pogues' show at the very least. I thought I had it bad having to leave Manchester early to avoid being stuck there.

Sorry to hear so many can't make it tonight, I feel for you all, so frustrating
I'm only 7 miles away from the venue so I'm gonna be there for sure, I was worried it might be cancelled but it would seem alls well, doors open in an hour or so, I'm gonna leave shortly , Hoping I'm gonna get a taxi

Bloody weather , I had two contingency plans and both of those were screwed by the snow. Really gutted to be missing the show tonight I've been going to Dublin for the last 4 years but couldn't get the time off work . Getting a bit worried about getting home to London for christmas next week now ! Have a great show tonight guys and play a song for us 'absent friends'

That's all total shite. I'm gutted for everyone missing Birmingham.

I hope the airports will be ok tomorrow, as i'm flying into Luton for the Brixton shows. Fingers crossed.

The Sheffield/Manchester/Birmingham shows were 3 of the best shows i have seen since the Pogues got back together in 01,no biased on my part,Brum just about pipped the other 2 gigs, but only just, but merely for the fact that weatherwise it was one of the worst nights to go out for anything let alone a concert.Appreciated the applause from the band to the audience ,it was E-motional.My heart goes out to those unfortunate ones who couldn't get to the gig here in Brum, even i had to say in a hotel and i only live 7 miles from the City Centre.

Fuck. I really hope that I can make it to Dublin tomorrow. The weather is horrible and many flights has been cancelled... I'm in Scotland right now, was supposed to see them in Glasgow but I have to be home in Norway by then :( So I'm really hoping that it will work out.. It would be my first Pogues gig so I better be able to get into Dublin! or else I shall declare war on the snow!

Is it that bad? Just checked the Nowegian forecast site, yr.no which is normally reliable and Wednesday and Thursday looks cold but no snow. Would be mad if the flights are cancelled. travelling from Gothenburg via London to Dublin and I hope the flights are ok.

Yeah, it was really bad. I couldn't even book a taxi because of the snow, they just told me to call one hour before I wanted to leave because they couldn't promise anything. The buses were canceled too. Luckily I did get a taxi after three calls so I got to the airport. Phew. The flights were running as normal, so I did get to Dublin and I saw The Pogues. It was amazing! :D But it's very lucky I got that taxi, or else I wouldn't have managed to get there.

Having loved the Pogues since I was 13 (too many years ago to mention) I am absolutely devastated (in perspective) that I cant get to Brixton tomorrow night. My only hope is that the "Farewell Christmas Tour" does actually mean we're saying goodbye to Christmas and not to the Pogues touring in December? I know, I know... Any way happy Christmas everyone and have a bloody good night. Ho ho ho... hum

100 miles through the snow for Saturday in Brum, 100 miles back Sunday, it was worth every freezing mile. Great show, great audience, enjoy Brixton.

Deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dad, its a tough call, but it may be best if you don't go, but only you can really make that decision....
