Pogue Mahone lyrics are very bluesy as well! like How Come!

Ronnie Lane and Kevin Westlake wrote Howe Come Spider co wrote the sun and the moon from the Pogue mahone album.

i think everyone of them are very talented but Jem have wrote some good ones

What I'd give to be anywhere near as talented as any of those guys. Lyrics alone are mindblowing.

For me, without a doubt, it has to be Terry, although Jem obviously has co-wrote a lot of stellar Pogues stuff with Shane. For me " The battle march medley " is one of their best instrumentals, showcasing every member of the band. A brilliant performance of a great tune ( s ). For me, " Streets of sorrow/ Birmingham six " is one of the unsung ( literally ) heroes of IISFFGWG. Apparently " Streets..." was originally intended to be a full track in itself. What a shame, it would have been a great moment of quiet, to one of the greats, MIchael Collins.
Terry's " Young Ned of the hill " is for a lot of people the standout track on P&L and " Gartloney rats " another much needed shot of the hard stuff. Also, " Everman is a king " is another fine track for me. I may also be the only person who loves " Rainbow man " on HD. I'm assuming it was written by Terry because he sings it but I may be wrong on that one, must check. " South Australia " is one of my favourite Pogues tracks and while he didn't write it, he did I believe, introduce it to the band and he sings it so for me it's very much his contribution.

He/she is responsible for some brilliant Pogues songs: Greenland Whale Fisheries and Kitty for a start... :-)

I like the stuff s/he did with "Annon." a lot too.

What tracks by the Pogues were written by " Annon " ? I don't think I know of any of those.
