Can I just be the first to ask -

Why not Toronto? Montreal? Seattle? Denver (you guys rocked Denver the last time)? Cahirciveen? Melbourne?

The "I told you so" phrase comes to mind when you mentioned your experience in Denver. I mentioned both Denver and Minneapolis long ago as cities that would receive the boys with arms wide open. Minneapolis should now be at the top of the list for "new" cities to make an appearance.

Clash Minneapolis AND St. Paul would warmly receive The Pogues just as they did for Shane and The Popes in August of 1995 when they took the stage of First Avenue. We have traveled to Chicago, Kansas City, and Las Vegas to see The Pogues and will continue to do so as long as they tour. Would we love to welcome the band to the Twin Cities? It would be a an honor! Until that day, we will board the boat train.

We were at both of those Chicago shows, met Territa on the floor the first night. Did not remember it being that cold, although we started drinking early that day.
