Killarney! Must be at the INEC. I've never been to a gig there but Sharon Shannon and Shane played there on NY Eve a couple of times.

Soulfinger, if your coming over to this side of the water you CANNOT miss Dublin if the boys play The Olympia. There is not a better place to see them ANYWHERE.

Great news Philip. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeee Haaaaa !!!!!
How big is the Olympia FR Mcgreer ? i always do at least 2 gigs, Brum and another, though i have done three different cities in the past, love London and Glasgow, i did not like the Point, it was way to big and informal but it would be great to get over to Dublin again or even Killarney or maybe both, cheers for the advance advice Mr C, spot on as ever,

the Olympia is an old Vaudeville Theatre of rapidly fading glory [if they repair the Front of House as thoroughly as they recently refurbished the backstage artist areas, they have a shot at continued long life, however] which, in our configuration - we take out the stalls seats - holds upwards of 1600. We will be doing two shows there this year before Jedward put the seats back in for their starring appearance in Cinderella. Panto already Louis?

I had my fingers crossed for US dates in December. Oh well. Mustn't grumble. The Pogues delivered that gift last year, and I enjoyed it.

Sounds like a great venue, the old academy in Brum was always one of my favorites, not very plush but oozing atmosphere, it could be for me this year, but we'll have to see how the dates work out, starting in Ireland again this year i wonder, hopefully its not on a school night and its about Brum copped for a friday or saturday but i'll be their whatever, can't wait :D :D

More likely in the beginning of December. There are no dates booked at The Olympia between 2nd and 5th of December. Sounds good to me :D

Hmmm. Came to Dublin a few years back for a very good show at the point. I've never actually been to Killarney at all. Depends on the dates and how they fit in with work I guess.
