Ben and Jerrys!well spotted that man, maybe a Cherry Garcia would be an alternative choice, been to that particular B and J many times,Amsterdam has just about got everything for everyone, which is why its a special place. Its a pity the Pogues are only playing one show in Nederland, there are other great venues in TILBURG,ROTTERDAM and GRONINGEN,which would easily sell-out.

The owner of the Irish Bar around the corner of Melkweg is dead, apparently a case of suicide after Heineken-brewery made him a proposal on how to 'reorganize' his debts ...
In heaven I met my Maker, I told Him a few jokes
we also sang some songs, He even liked The Pogues

John's secret is he started going to Pogues gigs before you were born. That's either an unfair advantage or you just weren't thinking ahead.

I wouldn't be suprised if he was responsible for a few suicides himself. He wasn't 'the nicest man around'. This doesn't mean he deservers it or so.

Hey. Long time no post.

Amsterdam will be my first Pogue's gig outside the comfort of the UK and I look forward to it muchly. I am also flying in on the jump-seat of a KLM flight and look forward to that just as much.
Which band has the joy of supporting The Pogues. I am sure it has been answered a few times but I can't find it.

Hope everyone has a great gig and well done John on 200 gigs, nice work if you can get it and all...
