I'm sorry, but I have to ask and comment (pardon my ignorance, naivete, zeal, and critique)...
Who is Paloma Faith? (she has quite a high profile slot in this song)
It felt like too, too, too, too long to have to wait for Chrissie Hynde's part.
Who is the other (3rd) female singer?
Was Johnny Depp's part recorded seperately?
For a second, I thought that mighta been Joey Cashman on sax, but then again, I don't think Gerry O'Boyle and JC have ever been in the same room together....
I think Shane's vocals sound great! Clear, full, energetic, focussed, and uncompromised.
Guess the track of Mick Jones smacking the fire extinguisher never made it to the final mix.
Cait is hot!!!!
Danny Clifford was the exclusive photog genuis so there's bound to be some GREAT shots coming soon.
And lastly, for what it's worth... my own, Fay's Fantasy We Are the World in London Shane for Haiti League would have atleast included: Pete Doherty, Phil Chevron, Spider Stacey, Gilson Lavis, Jools Holland, Bap Kennedy, Paul Weller, Ron Wood, and Kate Moss.
More star power... more commercial success.
And, Joey on sax, of course!
Although, thank you, Bono, for sitting this one out.
But, I'm not complaining.
Great job, Shane! (Andy White/producer, too)
Those are just merely my first impressions.
