You are, of course, quite right Niall. The use of the ignore facility has generally prevented him from getting on my nerves since he revealed his great insight into disability issues some time ago. I had had a bad week last week, a close colleague and friend of 20+ years died in a tragic accident abroad. I was all-round irritable. TOSC's unnecessary and spiteful, if entirely predictable attempt to poke life into the Oirish thread annoyed me and provoked a response it shouldn't have.

TOSCS is a simply a particularly poisonous troll. I need to just accept that and leave it alone. I have read his subsequent contributions to the thread and they are unsurprising. He has, however, inadvertantly given me the best laugh for several days. For someone with the emotional intelligence of a rattlesnake to be offering me life coach advice, telling me to spend more time with my family, is just priceless.

I am not going to return to this thread. Wherever Oirish is, I hope things are going well for him. I hope he realises his dream and gets to Ireland.

And with that note of encouragement to our wayward son, this thread is locked.

If IrishRover should happen some day return he can request for it to be reopened.
