Never siezes to amaze me how it can keep on selling. As a "new entry " selling more than Lily Allen ! Have to admit most of the chart list is beyond crap .

Apparently there are multiple Pogues songs in the movie, so even though I never would have checked it out in a million years before, it has just been upgraded to the status of "movie to rent when we absolutely can't find anything else in the video store."

But the beauty of the artwork, the design of the sleeve notes or whatever they're called on a cd, and the pure tactile pleasure of having the thing in your hand... it's not the same in a self-burnt thing, is it? Oh the artefact. And how I miss vinyl.

I phoned an insurance company in work and they had it on as hold music! I was pleasantly surprised, must admit it was the first time I've ever enjoyed listening to hold music.Unfortunately it was followed by that driving home for Chrismas song, whatever it's called.

The second time I heard it, it was playing on the radio in the bakery in Tescos, Old Swan as I was doing my shopping tonight. I stopped by the fresh cakes and cookies to listen, but some stupid fat woman decided she wanted to lust over the cookies so I had to move.![]()
Anyway, looking forward to hearing it live tomorrow night.
