Welll I suppose you'll only need cheernig up via The Pogues when Palace rip your heart out stamp all over it , spit on , and laugh at it.. when they inevitably lose.

Oh wow,I really do feel miserable today.

Palace have been doing that to me for thirty plus years. In fact given that of the five of us going I am the only one with any interest in football, it is likely that a potentially dull match may be forsaken for a couple of hours in one of Sheffield's many great pubs.

Eyup Medusa member/Toon fan (sorry Forest beat ya...then again we got Chevron and Hunt!) If you decide not to go to Tykesville on the Saturday there are a couple of pubs in Sheffield where music is the order of the day! The Dog and Partridge on Trippets Lane is an old Traditional Irish pub run for many years by the Flynn family.Doubtless on the SAturday of the gig there will be a few people there with instruments, reciting a few choice tunes and songs, myself included, please God! The other good pub is Fagans, which is just around the corner. The Dog is on the corner of Trippets Lane and Bailey Street and is a great pub, well worth a visit anytime either for a bit of music, a debate or a famous doorstep sandwich! Might see ya there, if so make yourself known!..should be a great gig

I've been on my works Xmas do. I have consumed both red wine and Guinness. If a big boy nicked my post and ran away, that's OK, if Gir's half shaft, cam shaft, dynamo, pocket sprocket rocket failed; then that's fine. If my blinker fluid is low, it's all good......................
