That seem about right, Jenny the Good? Anyone else want a slice of this?

FINTAN needs YOU! Like, as in , RIGHT NOW! :D

This is not a bludge, a cadge, a scam, or anything of the kind. Just ask anyone who knows me.

If this link works, it will take you to my iFund donation gadget on Facebook.

- IF you are a Facebook user, you can assist me by simply clicking 'Support', which will just paste a copy of the Fundraiser to your Wall or Profile... every supporter who occasionally displays the 'button' helps us to get this done faster.

- IF you have a Paypal account, and wish to help me do this thing, just click 'Donate'. Donations start from as low as $1 US, and I will publicly list donors on my website, my Facebook page and profile, and anywhere they feel like being publicly thanked.

Gadget @:
http://apps.facebook.com/ufundraise/fundraise.php?cid=324

I really appreciate your consideration and support. Thank you all very much.

YOU are the first contributor to my 2009-10 Ireland Invasion Plan, by buying my 2006 CD, 'Signed & Sealed'.

Your contribution via PayPal has kicked off my airfare-raising efforts in grand style! THANK YOU! Go Canada!

I'm pretty exhausted at the moment. It was another back-breaker at the employment palace.

I would love travel overseas to witness The Pogues in their respective homelands, but, it's just not feasible.
Try to convince me why I might part with my hard-earned money so you could have your fucking party at the expense of others :?:

Hiya Johnny. :)

Yeah, Me too. I've been out of regular work, and looking pretty hard for about 2 years now. In a post-recession industrial city like this one, it sucks hardish. My condolences.

I know what you mean. Whereabout's in the big old world are you? I'd be lucky with the schedule I have planned on this shoe-string, self-funded, low-key promotional 'tour' of Ireland to find the time to scratch meself and eat once a day, let alone party. Seeing The Pogues would be a pipe-dreamish indulgence at best. Drinks? Indulgent things like pillows? Pah! That's not what this is about. Just ask a few of the other regulars in here. Nice to meet you by the way. :)

I'm not trying to convince you, as such, but you're welcome to chip in if you ever feel the desire or can genuinely afford to. The fundraiser will only last for 2 weeks as of yesterday, and if I can't get the ticket deposit together at least, all donations will be refunded back via Paypal.
I was actually mainly speaking to the folks in here that I've met over the last few years, who've already been kind enough in the past to try out my CD and such to show support for my music.

And again, it's not about 'partying', it's about working. Catching up on opportunities before they melt away again.

So, Seánín An Sionnach a chara, my bribe to YOU is, if you stump up more than $5 US into that wee tin, I'll send YOU a copy of my 2006 (only currently only) CD ($30 AUS value inc. global postage) at MY expense to the address of your choice, Sir.

Seem fair? Otherwise, no worries have a nice day, and I hope we all get to go places and do stuff some day together.

Pax vobiscum.

I'm mainly (?)-ing because he's a total stranger vis-a-vis Facebook, and his generous donation shows up in the iFund gadget, but not yet in the Paypal account, so I don't want him to lose his money in the ether. Hmm.... be back shortly with gooder news, I hopes.

Meanwhile, that pun? COME HERE YOU!

Cheers Richy. Could you contact him as well? I'm just concerned, as iterated above, that his donation has gone astray... I've added him in Facebook, but am awaiting confirmation, so I can thank him Wall-to-Wall, as it were... :)
