Did you try and hit the refresh button to view the photo?

Can anyone else see the photo?

I still couldn't see it when I refreshed, but I can see it when I right click and hit "view image". It may just be my ancient desktop...

Edit: now I can see it on the board

Didn't work for me at first, but it did after a Shift+Reload.

Somehow the image requests to your server are being ... umm ... erratic.

Thanks, Seattle, you too! This whole thread is making me smile. Thanks for the drawings! :D

I love your name! I don't know if you're named after the city or not, but Seattle, WA my most favorite place ever! Have you been there, Seattle?

Yes I am named after the city and no I have not gone to Seattle but I will someday.

Just ran across this photo of Seattle and Jamaica from Boston 2008.

And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

I really liked that story and I liked the way you planned it, and how the story fit together, plus you used lots of interesting words. Well done!! I knew you would like a challenge... 8)

Now that I wrote a story for you, can you write a story for me?

Did you forget about making a story for me?

Hey! Yeah!

Irishbookish, where is the story that Seattle requested? She wrote one for you, and fair is fair after all.

Seattle has been writing poetry tonight and this one is my favorite:

in jewelry the diamond shines like fame
but your smile is the same

another:

when the bird whistles
i hear your initials
and when the cat meows
the world bows

one more:

stars are my light
and when the moon glides
i say goodnight
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

My dad didn't post all my poems 8)

The rest

Around the world there are different languages, and in our place there are different vanquishes.

Animals have wealth, but the Earth needs health.

When the phone rings you ding, and when you smile I dial.

When the music plays the violin joins a solo, and here I am right below.

The treesure of gold is your way,but your smile is my way I say.

The water and the wind are enimies, but you and are buddies.
The Pogues have inspired a bunch
And now it's time to write along,
Because we are able to see the Pogues play a song :) :)

I forgot to post some here they are.....

The singer sings like the birds, but geese have more herds.

Sometimes the neighbors play music when it's night, and you want it to stop sometimes they have to stop before you drop.

The sun comes up when you are awakening but when it's night the sun sets and is going down but you want it to turn around for the next day acomes.

I hope you like them 8)

Ah, good question Seattle. I suspect that Jos, Andrew's drum tech, is responsible for the monkey and other stage toys and when he's missing, as he is on this tour (we share him with Iggy and the Stooges and others) these items tend to get lost. However, I'll investigate and see whether or not the monkey can be reinstated for Dallas.
