The Tossers playing game one of Baseball World Series

Post Fri Oct 21, 2005 7:22 pm

The Tossers, whose record label has evidently decided I should be on their "email blast" list, has sent the following missive:

"Chicago's own
The Tossers
playing World Series 05
Game One
4:15pm - 7:15pm
Gate 3"

Their very large JPEG poster is at: http://www.victoryrecords.com/emailblas ... rs_Sox.jpg

I think that in the future their record label should:

1) Include actual dates on their posters
2) Try to send advertisements for upcoming shows to people in that general geographic area, and
3) Ask people for permission before adding them to the "emailblast" list

But I digress. I've heard that the Tossers are quite good. Those of you in the Chicago area now have an excuse to go to the World Series.
“I know all those people that were in the film [...] But that’s when they were young and strong and full of life, you know?”

DzM, yes, The Tossers are excellent (best thing since the Pogues), so I guess you can forgive them. :)

What kind of music do they play? I've heard the name mentioned here frequently, but I've yet to hear them/find any good information on them.
