1. Nobody tells Shane when it's time for a new set of teeth, except Shane. Personally, his gnashers have never caused me a moment's pause, with or without.

2. You'll never join Shane in the genius club until you learn to spell at least as well as him.

3. Go fuck yourself.

Nice of you to post with a cheap alias rather then actual sign up let us know more about you and maybe join in a conversation.

1) I don't think you'll find much chat here about anyone's concern of how drunk Shane IS
2) Most think his lyrical ability is still genius, he just hasn't written the published word in quite sometime (maybe genius is spelled with a o in Russian?)
3) Again no one that is a fan of the Pogues cares about Shanes teeth, that's between him and ...well him
3) Without him they made some other great music sung by people other then Shane but everyone is entitled to an opinion
4) yeah you sound like the happy type, as Mr Chevron so eloquently put it, go fuck yourself and might I add, die coward

He's the music fan equivalent of an ambulance chaser. i can safely say that neither nick or shane look back on that performance with any sort of pride. it's only a complete twat would watch that and think it had any merit.
On a lighter note i met neil tennant in a club last night. Obviously the conversation turned to christmas number 1's and i was told in no uncertain terms to stop whining about it. Then i met mark from westlife. westlife LOVE the pogues. so fuck off sputnik, you fucking no mark!

Re: Shane-less Pogues - boring?

Wait! Am I not supposed to like What a Wonderful World???
I like that and the last Pogues album (shaneless) and I like
the Pet Shop Boys. I'd like the Pogues to make another album please,
and include the following songs:

Carrickfergus.
And it Stoned Me.
Always on my Mind. (I joke)

Or not, I'd not complain just for a new album (instrumental, Shane, Spider,
Terence Trent d'Arby could sing for all I care, Neil Tennant?).

Maybe you fancy your chances at producing the album?I too would love to see a new POGUES album, interesting choice of songs though i can think of one that would suit The Pogues, When I Paint My Masterpiece[Dylan] :)

How about TROUBLE[Little Feat]Morning Dew[Tim Rose/Bonnie Dobson]orSt.James Infirmary[trad]for POGUES covers album or maybe an ep?Iilked the version of EVE of DESTRUCTION,i am a huge fan of P.F.SLOAN,a great, long forgotten songwriter, once sought by JIMMY WEBB , who paid a tribute to PHIL in his composition P.F.SLOAN in 1970. 8)

I <3 their albums with Shane, he's my favorite singer/songwriter of all time!

BUT, I really like 'Waiting For Herb' and 'Pogue Mahone'- they're so under rated. My favorite non-Shane album has to be 'Waiting For Herb' because every song is classic (even "Pachinko"! lol)
