If Ireland can win today, which is not at all impossible, they give themselves a real chance of getting through to the next stage. Having cleverly got rid of Eoin Morgan to England. Here's hoping.

Essex too. Though it doesn't help having so many players in the T20 squads.

Are you going to the Ashes test at Cardiff, Aled?

Yes my sister (she lives near the SWALEc Stadium) picked up my tickets on Friday. My Father and i are going on the Friday all being well! As things stand it could well be my only visit to the SWALEc stadium this year. I will seriously need to look carefully at wether paying my membership is worth it?
Cheers

Yes I too am considering that for next year. Don't really get there enough to justify the expense of my county membership. I need to go more. But then again I've always regarded paying for membership partly just as a way of supporting the club...

I won a "mascot package" in one of the supporter's clubs raffles this season. I am now entitled to be Essex's mascot for the day, with all kind of extras. I somehow feel I am a bit old for this. Trying to find someone to pass it on to.

Hope the sun shines on that Friday for you, Aled!

Poor old Australia.

Actually it's probably a cunning plan to rest them up before the Ashes...

Oh Ricky. I love it when things go wrong and he does that whole "George W. Bush looking confused" look.

Commiserations to the Netherlands, a valiant campaign. At least Essex should get Ryan back now.

Fixtures for the next round on the T20 have now been confirmed:

I think some of the Ireland cricketers should of been playing on the other side for The Lions ! Size of them.

Really enjoying this !

Just wondering now whether Donncha O'Callaghan could handle a cricket bat. It's a slightly scary image.
