Can't say for sure, but usually, when we're contracted to headline, we do our full show, yes.

13ths a sunday... which breaks with the tradition of Manchester on saturdays..... except on the year of the first of the reunion shows when I went to the the warm up at the manchester academy and the following night the band played the apollo, so a sunday night might mean a change of venues from the aircraft hangars maybe......

Whithout pushing you too much on Decembers plans, do ye have any idea on Dublin venue. The RDS is such a
lifeless barn. I have been to quite a few different shows there including all pogues shows and it is just a balls of a venue.
Don't know what it is because the Kings Hall is quite similar a venue and I seen ye there twice and it was fantastic.
It just seems so hard to get the rds rockin'. It seems more like a muesem than a venue.
It seems our buzzing capital is lacking in venues still after our racing Celtic Tiger!!
I know know Brixton won't let me down!! What a place.

Well, without giving away too much, it looks like we'll be moving house in both Dublin and Belfast this year. The 02/The Point has become prohibitively expensive to hire unless you can more or less guarantee a sell-out in advance, which we never can until the night of the show, if then and, although it's 7 years since I personally set foot on the RDS stage, I do remember it being very much a venue of last resort. The other difference this year is that, in response to Irish fans who find the Irish shows uncomfortably close to Christmas, we're looking at the possibility of starting the tour in Ireland this time, in early December, so that the London supporters get to take their turn at leaving all the Christmas shopping behind in the pub before the gig. Also, James F will get to be home in Los Angeles in time for Christmas rather than New Year's.

Hi Spin27, I too have said this many times about the old Point and RDS, you're dead right. I hate the Dublin gig venues but always have to go as i think it may be the last ever gig. Belfast has been better the past two years even though the King's is identical to the RDS. They're relaxed on security and you can have a drink while watching the band.

Philip, this will be the best news ever if you say you are going to play the Olympia. I was in the O2 and it's amazing if completely sold out but cavernous if not (capacity about 13,000).
