just go 9137
then 2684
then 5
and whatever you feel, is what you feel

the 'people's chav' has left us
she's gone to live with jesus
the paparazzi princess
died rich but fucking classless.

Ever since I was a kid of nine, i've been a wild and drunken swine
known the odd character dark and shady, spent the odd night with a painted lady
drank in dives with beggars and losers, woke up in the gutter all cuts and bruises
made some money and spent it fast, thinking nothing's made to last
broke some hearts and broke some bones, slights and insults, sticks and stones
lived in a big house, lived in a tent, had thousands of pounds, had fifty pence
lost my mind and lost control, rock bottom's a desolate lonely hole
no more laughter no more scenes, no ambitions, hopes or dreams
truly believed my soul was fucked, tried and failed to self-destuct
the situations i've survived, like a cat i've got nine lives
now dodgy knees and knackered back, mental illness, heart attack
no more exploits, that's all gone, on the sidelines looking on
medication, dole and pills, the welfare state and its cure-all-ills.

a wee footnote... I was 9 when I first got drunk...xmas in 'care..two of us stole a bottle of port.
As I was beginning to 'crack up...and of course didn't realise...I moved out of the marital home...became a nomadic sofa dweller..and lived for six weeks in a tent.
I did try to do 'something stupid'...my advice is don't!...i'm a perfect example of not knowing what's 'round the corner'.

I do like to scribble stuff down...anything really...but usually gets thrown out...my missus bollocked me for writing a dozen short 'bits' about being drunk, childhood stuff etc...said it was 'bad for me'...so I binned the book...now she's bollocking me for throwing it away! Women???
I am the world's laziest bastard when it comes to typing...and i've got to be in the right mood...i'm rather manic, so the 'highs and lows' made me smile...but thanks again, guys...and er...if I ever tell you about the burnt kid, you won't like me anymore...
