It's our pleasure. Zuzana and MacRua in particular have been putting a huge amount of effort into populating the gallery. Really, it's hat's off to them.
How about a gallery of fans mugshots too?
Well... There's an album there for photos of fans. Right now it's mostly populated with photos of fans looking star-struck next to members of The Pogues, but the editorial standard for entry into that gallery is fairly broad - "Fans of the band demonstrating their ... well ... fandom."

So come on all you fans - we look forward to getting mug shots of you demonstrating your fandom! Take a photo of yourself wearing your best Pogues T-Shirt on the Great Wall of China. Your favorite Pogues tattoo trying to fend off sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. Your favorite photo Odyssey re-enacting Transmetropolitan (please let us know the proper order for the photos). A photo essay of you and the Night Train to Lorca. Have seven friends and a lot of instruments lying around? Re-enact the photo session from If I Should Fall From Grace With God! Think creatively and send us evidence of your escapades.

This sounds all cool - my only suggestion being that the fans pics is a members only area?

Why should every Tom Dick and Harry see us with our grin and cheesy smile?

Three reasons:

1) Cause we're all about openness here. Group hug!
2) It seems unfair to only allow members to stalk fans. Stalking the fans should be something open to everybody!
3) Tying the registration system from the fora into the registration system for the gallery would be what can only be described as a colossal pain for me.

Besides, if I (as a fan) am going to invest in scratching the "PM" ligature into moon-dust, I want to whole world to see it!

My bet is that most of us enjoy hiding behind the anonymity afforded by the fora. Some of us are shy (!) As for myself, I'm pathetic in front of a camera, as well as behind it.

But your inspiring words will no doubt spur us to action, and I look forward to more fandom photos!
