I think each version has different lyrics, but I have no texts of either. In both cases, they are laments about Margaret Thatcher, who was the most rightwing Prime Minister Britain ever had until Tony Blair came along.

Thanks a lot Mr. Chevron! I thought the intro was made in a studio as well (with the idea of sounding like a live performance), because I didn't know that you ever played "Murder" live.
I read in the newspaper some months ago that Margaret Thatcher now has got something like Alzheimer's disease. Did you ever think about lining up in front of her house and reviving "Murder", like the Sex Pistols did with "God Save the Queen" on the queen's birthday?only joking
