I'd be interested to see what other bands/artists you all listen to apart from The Pogues. Here's my Top 10, in no particular order: Hothouse Flowers, The Waterboys, Luka Bloom, The Frames, Cactus World News, U2, Coldplay, Midnight Oil, Christy Moore, The Dubliners.

A love The Clash, Joe Strummer (& The Mescaleros), The Nips, Dropkick Murphys, Johnny Cash, Boys From The County Hell (very good Pogues coverband), Ramones, Motel Blonde, Flogging Molly and ofcourse Shane MacGowan & The Popes

As any fule kno, The Pogues will always be the best band, EVAH!. But Faithless, Groove Armada, Tom Waits, Lemon Jelly, Kate Rusby, Scissor Sisters, Beach Boys, Public Enemy, Thea Gilmore, Marvin Gaye, Underworld, Stevie Wonder, Orbital, the Dropkicks, Christy Moore and the truly wonderful Basement Jaxx run them a close second.

how is 'peni' in 'rudimentary peni' pronouced? me and my buddy have always said it like 'penny' but my other friend said it's 'penI'.
