Been to Pogues gigs in brixton.. last 3 years running, loved all of them! just wondering if theres any chance of them coming back for 2008?!

hope so, i regret not going to manc last year and wanna fix it this year, maybe even bring the much better half, introduce her to good music

Manc last year was, in my opinion the best i've seen the Pogues and in particular Shane. I still dont like the big fook off venue with the high roof etc but it was better than the MEN.There is nothing on Saturday 13th of December either at the Manchester Evening News arena or Manchester Central yet this year on closer inspection of the listings

Coldplay, Elton John and James are on before and after tho

I agree, the train station was excellent. Up there among my favourites along with Dublin the year before and the Carousel in the 80s.

Last years tour date for the UK and Ireland were announced around 20th Aug, so a good 2 months yet.
But it would be nice of Philip to give us a hint that there will be an xmas tour

I certainly hope for a Christmas tour, as the gig in Glasgow last year was the best thing I've ever witnessed, hands down.
Bringing friends as well of course, that haven't seen them before.

I do hope there will be Pogues gigs for us to look forward to again in the UK this year. I hope we can go to two this year because after going to one, we just want to go back for more, doesn't have to be Christmas, or even our usual venue Brixton, it would just be great to see them (still gutted about missing the signing in Dublin by one day )

Totally agree, I was at that gig as well and it was fantastic. Hopefully we'll get another show this year, I'm seeing them in a fortnight though so that'll keep me going for a while

i missed the last one as well as the baby was due round about then and i didnt want to be too far from home. Heres hoping for some winter shows this year.
