Spider on Radcliffe & Maconie on Tuesday...

Post Mon Jul 07, 2008 9:13 pm

Spider is a guest on the superb Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie show on BBC Radio2 on Tuesday evening, it starts at 8pm and you can listen here;
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/radcliffemaconie/

For anyone who's never heard Mark Radcliffe's Pogues feature from a few years ago check it out here;

Oh and just for fun;

If thats not enough to make you listen then the revelation that Stuart Maconie is a lifelong Wigan fan should be enough :wink:

Cheers Mark, I'll check it out.
I've not caught the show before but I really rate Radcliffe & Maconie seperately and the YouTube skit is excellent

Thanks for the heads-up, Mark. It's well worth a listen. Available on the BBC iplayer till Tuesday 15th July 2008.
The bit with Spider is in the second half of the show, just over 1 hour in.

I listened to it last night and thought it was a good 'un! Still bemused, though, by the loss of the last few minutes show on 'listen again' due to bad language. Was that Spider cussing, or the Beeb coming over all coy at his choice of The Slits? :lol: Good choice, btw!

Could someone please send me this as well if they have it handy?

My email is rakeatthegates99@yahoo.com.

Also, is there anywhere online to watch If I Should Fall from Grace: The Shane MacGowan Story or The Great Hunger documentary??
I saw one on google video but the link is broken.
Thank you!

Some but not all. Sadly, it wasn't in the set in Portland (where I was), but i've just heard a recording of the Denver show, and it's in there.

Bump, bump.

I listened to last night's show and they mentioned that Spider would be guesting again tonight (Wednesday), programme is broadcast from 20:00-22:00 (UK time) on BBC radio 2, can be listened to on-line via the BBC website for anyone overseas.
