According to the Lemon Tree (a venue in Aberdeen) website Shane will be playing the Lemon Tree - i'd imagine it's a tour as Aberdeen isn't the most likely location for a one-off, given that Shane's a Londoner!

Any word on Shane's solo gig is it with The Popes or a new band?

According to the link SheepBoy posted, Shane is doing the concert with a new band. I think that might fuel the rumors even more of Shane and the Popes parting ways.
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

i cant imagine shane doing anymore gigs with the popes. Every time i see the pogues the concert always goes ahead! and shane in particular is on stage on time. down to the change of management i reckon
