I swore I wouldnt go to T again after going for the last four years but this line up's too good to resist

Sounds really good and it's a Saturday too.

Would really like to go but before booking tickets I would like to know where exactly it is, how close it is to a station I can get home from, what hotels are near it (I'm not camping at a festival, been there done that) etc.

Yes, quite right, too. That's what happens when you cut and paste info from the management's office.

Today's Irish Times reports as follows:

"Festival-goers registered to the Oxegen website will have limited pre-sale access to tickets from Monday March 3rd until Thursday March 6. Tickets go on general sale March 7."

Worth mentioning that Oxegen always sells out in advance.

Any idea on the time slot. I.e how long they will be on/mainstage or not?

Also after looking at the official website, it seems to me like The Pogues are a bit too far down the bill.

Eek. I do sort of hate the V Festival and its corporate ripoffness. And the thought of helping to line Lord Beardson's pockets. And I know I've said a few times that I won't go to it again. But it is close to home... And if it's The Pogues, that changes things.

V seems to have changed its dates this year, it's been later than that usually I think. Just hoping that if the band do play it, it'll be 17th at Chelmsford, because we couldn't get there on 16th.
