Phil's Ma bashes the bishop, March 1978

While researching - in the National Library, Dublin - another matter I happened on this -

That's telling him!

It's from the Evening Press of March 1st 1978 ( P.1 on the Dublin edition, p.5 of the country edition).

I was looking up coverage of Elvis Costello's first Dublin show -

The Stella Cinema , Rathmines March 16 1978-

Evening Herald.

The Rad's weren't gigging that month - did you , by any chance Phil, go to that show?

That is brilliant. My Mom used to defend my blue hair in the early 80s as a tribute to the blue color of the Virgin Mary's gown.

Kathleen, that is hysterical! :)

Philip, I can't find that thread where you mention the telephone conversation between your mother and Nancy Reagan... Would you mind repeating the story? I laughed out loud. 8)
