"Thousands Are Sailing": Dance Version

Post Fri Dec 21, 2007 7:20 pm

Howayas! I was convinced by a friend to stick up this techno/dance cover of "Thosands Are Sailing" I made. I was reluctant to as Im sure alot of you will think Ive destroyed a brilliant song, and Im sure Mr. Chevron wont like his classic being butchered (obviously I didnt make it to make money!)

Anyway, sure maybe somebody will like it! Here's the link, its the first song on the list on the right.

Nice one, Joey! Really like that version of TaS (which is one of my all-time favourite songs!)

Any chance you could do a few more covers of Irish songs? Possibly with a bit of vocals (just dont make it sound like Irish Clubland!).

I hate Irish clubland and that type of music. Give me some suggestions and I will try and make them. I'm trying to think of a good reel or something to put into one.

Go On Home might be a gd one, I've heard a kinda 'different' version by an Italian ska band called Banda Bassotti which is quite good. Try doing Come Out Ye Black & Tans too, that's good a good tune to it.

EDIT: I read "reel" as "rebel" lol
