and actually i'm not irish - i'm only living and studying in this loveliest of cities and unfortunately i'll have to go home in june :cry:

i'm soooo lookin forward to seeing the pogues live... i've loved their music for years and years!

btw, it surprises me that there actually are irish people who like the pogues... so far, i haven't met one of them, and when i say i think the dubliners are great, people at my age usually laugh at me! would you believe it!

okay, see you then. if not in the pub, then at the concert.

AAARGGHHH I wish i was there for the Dublin show.
Seeing The Pogues in Dublin for me is like a Catholic seeing Jesus in Heaven. Perfect. Oh well, maybe next year, at least I got to see the best band in the world in Glasgow

THE CELT should be visited by everyone! From my 4-day visit in Dublin in July, that was by far the best pub for me. Amazing atmosphere!

It's going to be mental in there at that time on Sunday. You will probably get in but it's going to be extremely uncomfortable for all involved. You'd all be better off finding somewhere quieter... like I'm going to do.

Good piece of advice, cause now it was really really pleasant for the ones that did go there in the end !! :lol:
