I was just listening to the Dubliners, and I had a realization: it'd be pretty damn cool to hear the Pogues do Sam Hall, especially since Shane's voice has gotten deeper/grittier-sounding (there are technical words that probably explain what I mean but I have no idea what they are) with time.

Just think of him doing the "and my neck will pay for all when I die" bit. Groovy, right?

In that case, you may like less less-incendiary Rosin The Bow. The two songs share the same air.

It might be nice to pull out this song again and have Shane and Spider duel the vocals like on "Down In The Ground..." since there is no whistle. I'd also like to hear "Down In The Ground..." next time around.

In the very spirit of "Down In the Ground," why not "Boat Train," which features Spider on vocals and also tin whistle.

I'd just like to mention that if Birmingham is any indication, Dark Streets of London is a completely amazing live tune and it should not leave the setlist. Don't know if Shane's started remembering the words to Transmetropolitan yet, but I'd still love to see a good runthrough of that one.

Honestly I'd like a set list radically different from what we've seen in the past.

Keep the Sickbed of Cuchulainn and Dirty Old Town, but I'd like to see If I Should Fall From Grace With God, the Irish Rover, Streams of Whiskey, Fiesta (especially this, I don't think much of it), and so on dropped. In exchange, we could hear NW3, Aisling, the Battle March Medley, And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda, South Australia, Down in the Ground, The Leaving of Liverpool, and a lot of other stuff that's played rarely to not at all.
Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent. I thought you were supposed to be good. Aren't you the... 'good' man?
