all i can say is that SOMEBODY had better bootleg that one & spread it around... for the benefit of those of us with too many continents, oceans, debts & children in the way.

Heard about this a while ago but wasn't sure if it was true... I'm half tempted to stay in Ireland with my mates from Portlaoise for New Years now!

Because of this thread I looked up Sharon last night on ITunes and I must say, purcahsing 'The Galway Girl' and 'Say You Love Me' from her Diamond Mountain Sessions was the best thing I've done lately, I cannot stop listening to those 2 songs.

I feel I should clarify, given that the title of this thread may be misleading to anyone who has not been breathlessly following Ms Shannon's engagements. SHANE MacGOWAN will, apparently, be involved in some, most or all of her "Big Band" shows. None of the other POGUES have any involvement whatever.

I've fixed the title to avoid any misunderstanding.
Thanks, Philip!

Do you know if Shane will just come out and sing one or two songs, or actually do the gig with her? It might just be promoters throwing his name about to gain publicity.

No, I'm afraid I know nothing about these shows at all. They probably know more over on Friends Of Shane.
