Hell yeah!

Pretty good recording actually!

And James: 'Rainy Night' is really slow but still very good.

Haha I listened to the complete bootleg and I believe Shane was really drunk. Some really annoying people around the taper though.

It's always interesting to fresh up your memory with a recording. I also listened to the whole concert. a few things I noticed:

* the in-between song banter was really hilarious. I'd still like to know what Shane and Spider were talking about before Lullaby of London.

* Phil's Thousands are Sailing is a clear highlight. I love how he always phrases things differently.

* I didn't know Phil was a famous Polish (?) bard and minstrel.

* The version of Turkish Song of the Damned is ridiculously bad. I don't think Shane sings any original lyrics during the verses. I love it when some guy near to the taper says 'oh my god'. At the concert I didn't even notice Shane completely fucked the song up. it was fun

* there's this awful (sorry) woman who answers each line of Sally MacLenanne with a scream. brr

* the slow songs are all beautifully sung. Rainy Night in Soho is a keeper!

* great accordian playing on White City

thanks again to the taper!!

Turkish song of the damned is fucked up yeah and that woman in Sally Mac was annoying too. I thought Tuesday Morning was done really nicely as well

Three slots still open for the B&P, all you need to do is post your email address.

Eyeball_Kid and Mick Molloy, loved reading your feedback on the recording!
