Who the hell is the second singer of "old" Pogues?

A hell of a stupid question, I was quite sure it was Spider Stacy, but after checking out later Pogues where he's lead singer, and hearing the new Dropkick Murphys album, I'm suddenly in doubt. Since I was quite sure, I never bothered checking it out till now either.

I'm talking about songs like Recruiting Seargant, Young Ned of The Hill, South Australia etc.... :oops:

Those all sound a lot like Terry to me.

Spider sings on quite a few others though, like Down in the Ground.

On Down in the Ground Where the Dead Men Go, Shane sings both lead and answer/backing part. An amazing piece that might be called psychedelic at some point in the future.

my step-mom used to sing that song to me as a bedtime lullaby (or a version very similar). Safe to say I had Worm dreams during a large portion of my young childhood.

now I sing (Andrews version) to my neice and Nephew when I see them.

doesn't bother their dreams a bit.

Finally cleared that up then, thanks.

And I'm 99% certain it's the same guy on Youn Ned..., South Australia and Recruiting Seargant :wink:
