Blood Or Whiskey

Anyone else like them?

I think they're great, prefer them over SLF, Tossers, DKM, Flogging Molly and stuff, tho obviously not The Pogues.

Favourite songs are The Mero, Poxy Pub, Rocky Road, Bucharest, Geektime, Always Remember, Galway Town, Wack For A Widdle, and Sober Again.

I'd love to see em live but the bastards are support acts for Stiff Little Fingers's UK tour pretty much every show up to the London one

Yea. I like the one cd I have. Sober again is a great song. I've often wondered who he was singing about.

Not bad, but I don't think they're great either.

Btw, it looks like it is a whole new band on the second album. Save for the drummer, is there any original member at all?

Great band - All albums great

Cashed Out on Culture - Very Punky version of Red Roses For Me (Best Pogues album IMO)

Then they'll take you to Cloughprior
Shove you in the ground
But you'll stick your head back out and shout

That's a great song that is!
So you dropped a button in the plate and spewed up in the church...

I love em, they have loads of great songs so I couldn't really pick a favourite.

Cait O'Riodran is on that Knocking on the Doors of Hope track,

I think you have your albums mixed up. The first two are mostly same members. The third album has many new members including a new singer.

I really like the first two albums, especially the second one "No Time to Explain".

I thought the singer/guitarist (Dugs) is an original member too.

Yeah I meant the third album, Cashed on Culture. My bad. But it doesn't change the fact that I don't recognize most faces in the booklet. ;)

The whistle player adly passed away last year, and they have a new bassist.

Great lads who unfortunately suffer from poor management, they are for me the only true Irish folk/punk band around

Yeah, it's quite strange managerial move - to hire new bassist instead of dropped out whistler...
