Ooooh, heartiest congratulations to all humans involved. Unfortunately though, you have been misled - my name is not Lucas. But Philip sounds like a good choice, a better one than it was in my case, where myself, my father, my grandfather, my great-grandfather and (we think) great-great-grandaddy too and were all the First Born Sons and that in a family where Tradition Mattered. Yes, I come from a long line of Pips. Gladys Knight was furious.

Nice one.

Did you consider calling him Spider at all? Were you overruled on that one? :D

I was once explaining to a friend, the motivation, no rationalization, behind naming my daughter. In the end she asked me, "so you named your daughter after food?" Its kind of complicated, and involves a lot of South Asian stuff, but her simple summary has always made me laugh. And I wish my parents put half the thought into naming me that I put into my daughter's name. Eric. ERIC. There are a million Erics. And in the end, it was just so the initials could be the same as someone else in the family. And we are not Scandinavian. So anyway...... I hope you take the time to explain that your kid was named after a guy who took the time to keep that connection that is so important to any real punk-rooted band, with their audience (notice I did not use the term "fans" -- because the proper term is "peers"). :)
What kind of fuckery is this?

nboldock Spider would be a great name but for the boys head i like it bether if he pick up the guitar rather then the beer tray.
