Wow.

Phillip,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. You have proven to be the most accesible of "rock stars" and have made many a Pogues fan on this board feel very special...

I know all will be well with you.

Like everyone else here, I was shocked when I read the news- I feel exactly as if this was happening to a member of my own family.

The hard thing about being agnostic is that you don't know who to direct your heartfelt prayers to. Mine are going out on an hourly basis and will
continue until Philip is back where he belongs, being the true heart of the best band in the world. You have the respect, admiration, and love of
everyone who posts here (and thousands more besides) - all of those good vibes will have you back onstage in no time.

Just saw the news. Get well soon!! I hope it was caught early enough that treatment will be as un-debilitating as possible and that recovery will be as swift as possible. You will be in our thoughts.

Good Luck Phil-Never Give Up!

Post Mon Jun 25, 2007 9:14 am

Kieth smokes a carton a day and will live until 88 like his Dad.
Charlie gave it up 30 years ago and gets throat cancer now.
Cancer runs through my family.
Bullshit they don't have a cure or vacine-the drug companys are making to much money letitng cancer continue

Good Luck Phil-Never Give Up!
Without HOPE we may as well be blind.
