Distressing, but good that it was caught. Take care of yourself, and have a speedy recovery. We'll miss you this year, but look forward to seeing you next!

Best of luck, Philip. If there is such a thing as Karma your voice will be sweeter than ever once healed.

My deepest, deepest thoughts and concern, man.
Its sad how it can take something like this to make one realize how much they immensely admire and respect a person and their mind.
Good luck, Philip.

Dear Sir,

After being grounded from the New York shows due to weather, none was more excited to see a west coast tour. Last year, I followed you guys thru the coast for all but two San fran shows. At the time, I thought I was crazy, insane, and/or compuslive. Looking back, I find it to be one of the coolest things I have done in recent years.

Furthermore, the role call during the 2004 December gigs was total class act.

However, it is hard to imagine going forward without the most charismatic member who holds the band together during tough gigs, interacts with the crowd more than anybody, and who became the public face of critisim last March for no good reason.

Please rest up and get well. In the meantime, very many thanks for the last six years.
