Have any of you been to a Brave Combo show? We are considering a late week night performance next week, but my husband has to work the following morning and it's a bit of a drive. Any input?

I saw Sparklehorse last monday. Linkous played with a duo called the Dead Texan, and some tunes suffered from being drenched in the Dead Texan's synth sound. But overall a very nice gig with some beautiful visuals.
I just wish I could have caught Wilco on this tour.

Just seen that Thin Lizzy are coming on tour in this direction later in the year. Has anyone seen them lately? How are they these days? It's hard to imagine the band without Mr Lynott.

Going to see them on the 30th

Cool... be interested to hear your report, Mick. Still haven't decided about going myself.

I saw CSS and New Young Pony Club recently, and thought they were pretty fine. Enjoyed them more than I enjoyed Klaxons. 8)

The Tossers were here last night. My first pit.

I threw a party for those of us going to the show. Kyleface_27 brought Tony Duggins. To know him is to love him. Everyone returned after the show... I'm avoiding my neighbors today.

I have no idea at this point whether this is cool or pathetic, but I got tickets to take my son (he's 15) to see They Might Be Giants.

I saw them in the 80s when they were a geeky duo with a tape machine. They were fun then. Haven't checked out a new album since John Henry.
