Why doesn't Shane play any of his own stuff, (or is that like an unwritten law)

P.S I like the pic of BP Fallon with Ronnie Drew and Luke Kelly back in the Dubliners hey-day.

Why? In Sep 2002 he played Rain Street and in Mar 2003 - The Town I Loved So Well by Lancaster County Prison and him self.
