Hello James!
I know I'm strange here 'cause I'm not and I haven't any English/American/Irish ancestries. I'm Brazilian with granparents from Spain, so...a little strange in this nest, but I like your musics; is this enough? I hope so.
First of all is a great pleasure can write in your forum. You are always so kind with your fans here or in your shows (I've heard this) that I've taken courage to write too.
I love the sound of accordeon, and I know you are an expert. I'd already listened some. Here in Brazil the accordeon is used in many kinds of rhythms. Do you know any Brazilian musician who plays accordeon? Names like Luis Gonzaga, Sivuca, Dominguinhos (from Northeastern), Renato Borguetti and others (from South), forró (from everywhere) or any Brazilian "country" music?
Would be a big honor if I got see one show (Cranky George or The Pogues) and I could give you one CD with Brazilian musics. Maybe one day...who knows!
Congratulations for your musics and liking.
I wish you a lot of inspiration and success.
Isa
(Sorry my terrible english!)
