THE POGUES are pleased to announce the third and final show of their Summer Festival mini-tour celebrating their 25th Anniversary year.

Sunday 12th August 2007 Lokersen Festival 2007, Belgium.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The finalised date sheet is as follows:

Friday 10th August 2007 Way Out West Festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
Sunday 12th August 2007 Lokersen Festival 2007, Belgium.

Sunday 9th September 2007 Celtic Roots 2007 Festival , Beacon Park, Lichfield, UK

THE POGUES will headline all shows. Showtimes will be posted when they are known.

The POGUES are: Philip Chevron, James Fearnley, Jem Finer, Darryl Hunt, Shane MacGowan, Andrew Ranken, Spider Stacy and Terry Woods. There is no reason whatever, at this stage, to suppose that any one of them will be replaced on these shows by a cardboard cut out, an inflatable doll, a statue of St Martin de Porres or any other non-Pogues manifestation, animate or inanimate.

Some more info on this I read a couple of months ago. This is a music festival that is on in all of the city. You can buy tix and go anywhere. HOWEVER: if the place is full, you're nto allowed to go on until someone leaves. So for us Pogues fans it'll be there a few hours before or so

Have fun y'all...if I could stop having kids, I'd hop on a plane and go see at least one of these...I was listening to "Straight To Hell" on the way to work this morning and thinking fondly of the beauty of the Pogues shows in March and wishing they were forthcoming rather than recently past...
Come visit my two new Pogues fans, twin boys Shane & Dylan and follow them from birth, through the ICU and home: http://grierboys.blogspot.com/

Great to see the photos of your boys. I have a nephew who only weighed 1 pound at birth and it scared the hell out of me. He is three now and is doing OK and goes in for surgery this week as he does not have use of his legs at this point. I would take more kids over a Pogues show anyday (sorry Philip). My wife and I were only able to catch the Chicago shows this spring as we already had a trip for the kids planned to Disneyworld in Orlando when the tour dates were announced. We endured a major sacrifice for the kids...
