Her Father Didn't Like Me Anyway

So, on another thread here (Official Music > Change in Direction) I first learned (or maybe remembered, i probably read the liner notes at the time) that "Her Father Never Liked Me..." was not a Shane original, but a cover of a Gerry Rafferty / Humblebums song.

Went looking for an mp3, and found a cover by Newfoundland (Canada) band Shannyganock. Here's their site:

edit: i see they do "Pair of Brown Eyes" as well. Just listened to some samples from the site. The singer sounds somewhat like Stan Rogers, tho the music is quite different from Stan. Strange, doesn't sound so similar on "Her Father..."
