Where can I find Pogues w/ Joe Strummer

Post Wed Apr 18, 2007 7:28 am

Can anyone let me know where to find any of the shows that Joe Strummer sang vocals on with the Pogues?

Have you tried here? http://www.pogueslive.com/
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

I apologize if I'm being a dumbass but I looked at the site and only found setlists for the Joe Strummer shows. I might've been unclear but I'm looking for recordings (preferably SBDs) of those shows. Thanks again for the help.

JFYI, dear Guest:
Making arrangements for the trade, sale, or exchange of bootlegs is not permitted here.

Sorry. A lot of bands allow taping so I was hoping there were some Pogues shows.

The Pogues live at the Town and Country has the best (and most worthwhile) Pogues (including Shane) and Strummer song. The dvd is worth it for that reason alone.

As well as the Town & Country DVD, there are 3 b-sides to the Tuesday Morning single, in various formats: I Fought The Law, London Calling, and Turkish Song of the Damned. They are taken from a show that was professionally recorded. Mr. Chevron has stated, elsewhere on this forum, that it may someday see release, but there are no plans in the works.

There are many bootlegs circulating, many (probably most) listed on pogueslive.com. The only SDB/Pro-recorded i've ever heard of is something from an RTE broadcast, i've never heard it. I'd love to, though. I have a number of audience recordings, and they all sound like crap, sadly.
