No Newcastle show this time around so I'm making my first trip to Brixton for Thursdays gig so will pop into some of these pubs for a few, may see some of you around?

Travelling to Brixton on Thursday afternoon, hopefully will see & talk to a few of you in the Canterbury. Does anyone know of a bar to go after the show for a few more late ones?

Lovely to meet Clash Cadillac and his other half (yer a diamond ), an outright charming couple who I talked shite to for manys the hour after the gig, an absolute pleasure to meet ye! Great to meet Johan et al as well. Hope all of ye got home in one piece (or labeled parts 1 to 3?) to your respective corners of the globe. Think I met Fr McGreer too but didn't get to say confession, probably for the best and another massive thanks to Frances for the ticket, it was a huge rush starting from about 12 today from Galway to Shannon to Gatwick to Brixton but I got there in the end and I'd like to think I did it justice.

A special mention to Phillip. As much as I love the Pogues I don't think I'd have been as involved as I am without his dedication to this fora. He was and is something special. Forever in our hearts.

Great fun. Too bad they tossed us out of the bar as I still had room for a few more pints and could talked for hours more. Spending time with so many Medusans is almost getting to be as much fun as the gigs themselves. Safe home...

One time Mr. MacGowan said "There's enthusiasm for you" when I was screaming in his face. Which I took as a compliment. So there's a high bar. Also a really, really, low one... Ah, well.
