Once one gets to a certain age, the prospect of attempting to go anywhere to do anything after a gig becomes increasingly unlikely...

Especially when "straight to bed" involves a journey of a couple of hours or so. And that's after negotiating the O2's lifts.

Mind you, it is the end of the world the next day, so perhaps it doesn't matter...

If it's going to be the end of the world on Friday, can it be before I have to get the train home?
I would rather not start than not finish especially when I am likely to have a headache.

Obviously someone stole your identity in Paris because that guy had more than a couple small glasses of sherry.
