As we're comig from Germany we want to look around London on thursday, but I think we'll be heading to the Pilot Inn before the gig to have a few pints.

Would love to meet some Medusans, so if you see a brown haired guy with the black PM jacket at the Pilot Inn or at the O2 feel free to say hello!

cant make it for reasons i`d rather not go into ,gutted is too polite a word i feel quite sick literally.
i`ve known for a few days but found it hard to post on here
got rid of ticket locally so happy about that i suppose
hope you all have a great time i may put the paris dvd on thursday at 9pm if i can be that brave.

Rich, I think about 5 minutes walk..from what i've seen on the map.

I'm actually staying at The Pilot Inn. Since I'm making the trip to London on my own, I didn't trust myself on the tube after the gig, having had a few...Definitely up for a few drinks prior to the gig. Will probably catch folk in the bar of the pilot.

Where is Filrthy mc nastys in relation to Greenwich?

It's the other side of London, Filthy's is in Islington, North London, the closest tube would be Angel. Best way to get from there to the O2 would be Northern Line to London Bridge then change to the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich, I would allow about three quarters of an hour for the journey.

Has anyone been in there lately? I went in about 3 years ago after Wigan had played at Arsenal and it was, shall we say, run down to say the least!

Been in Filthy's a couple of times, years ago when I was in Camden working..seemed alright to me..long time ago though.

Yeah it's been done up now but still Filthy Macs!! You can buy an all day travel card that gets you zones 1-3 so I think that will cover landing at Marylebone and getting right across to and from the O2. However we might even catch the boat to/from the O2, maybe both ways at £7 a go....It's got a bar on it and they sell Guinness!! Depends on the craic I suppose! Any of yous are more than welcome to join up with us would love to meet some fellow Pogues fans, more the merrier. 'we have no strangers here, only friends we have yet to meet' was the sign up in my local Irish bar, never a truer word spoken regarding Pogues fans, methinks!!!
