OK, here it is, the Greenwich meet up thread.
Who's going (apart from me, Mctoon and Mark WAFC)? Anyone know of any good places to meet up near the venue and cheap hotels, places to eat nearby?

I have booked the premier inn also, it was the cheapest hotel in Greenwich according to the website I book my hotel rooms from. Doesn't look bad at all, free wifi in the rooms etc.
I guess we'll be meeting in the hotel bar then.

I would be interested nearer the time to hear if anyone will be getting the boat to Greenwich. I will be at London Bridge about 6pm after football and a pint (or 5). I tried to meet up at St Andrews Bar in New York but I think you had all left by the time I got there. It would be nice to say hello in person.

OK, let's get this started again. There's only one week to go and nobody's come up with any ideas for where to meet.
I'm planning to be in Greenwich around 2pm in time for check in at the hotel. Will need to get washed and changed and make myself pretty (if that's at all possible) so should be ready to meet people about 3.30pm ish.

I'm planning on getting the Thames clipper to Greenwich from the Tower, plume of feathers looks good, can't wait for this gig, had tkts for the apollo at christmas and got stranded in snow and couldn't get there from work, and to make matters worse Mr C had kindly left me some backstage passes. Worst night for a long time, my brother was there and said they were spot on. There better be no snow in July!!

Me and mrs toon will be hopefully be in greenwich about 7ish, all depending on east coast trains, then the tube, then DLR, then find hotel, then find a pub, then find the gig, however my mates daughter who works in the smoke says "the gipsy moth" is a fine drinking establishment
If we meet we meet, if not have a great time, a good drink and have a laugh. and enjoy probably the last gig in the Uk for a while
