Tickets still seem to be available at the moment so I'd say you'll probably be OK to get them on the night. I have no idea what the capacity of the venue is. Looks nice though. Very different from Brixton!

Hey all, I'm coming from Victoria BC on my own, and wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you before hand. My two cents - on the beer geek side - both Plume of Feathers and the Mitre are in the CAMRA London pub walks book (meaning good beer and buildings of note), and I've been to both before. Good real ale in each (and whatever fizzy lager you like, if that tickles your fancy), but I did like the Plume better. Take that as you will. How about someone local make the call about where and when for us out-of-towners. Sounds like the band's been on form so very stoked to see them. Last time I saw them we definitely had a wobbly Shane on our hands in Seattle, though the band and crowd were fabulous in Portland. Me? I’ll be the tall, be-earinged old punk rocker with a shaved heed and funny accent ;) Feel free to say hi.

OK, I'm not local, I'm from the other side of the UK, but I reckon meet at The Plume around 5.30 - 6pm. That gives most people (except McToon) time to get to Greenwich settle in and get something to eat.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It may be a good idea to swap mobile numbers, usually works for me. If anyone wants mine feel free to PM me by Friday night latest.

Me too, and I only live six miles from the gig venue. Seventeen years after the end of British Rail and I think the sandwiches are just about reaching their peak, far better now than when they were fresh.

Well I don't envy you two. We're travelling first class (strangely it was cheaper than standard class) and we're supposed to get some kind of meal. Hopefully Mr Branson has something more tasty on offer than British Rail sarnies.

Hi Miss Walshy, how's it going? You should have gone for the season ticket, if you had gone for B block you could have joined the Holmesdale Fanatics. My work commitments mean that I can only get to about half a dozen games per season (in fact normally only get to three of four) so I haven't got a s/t this year. More excited than normal about the forthcoming season, not sure why other than the fact we seem to have a decent set of owners for the first time in many years. My prediction for this season is a top half of the table finish, just outside the play-offs, next season we'll go up up in an automatic promotion place. Still enjoying the Selhurst roller coaster ride, here comes an upward lurch.

Back on topic, looking forward to Greenwich tomorrow night, will be the first time I have seen the Pogues in London since 2008, my last three of their gigs were in New York, Dublin & Sheffield. Hoping to get to the Plume for a few pre-gig pints, don't want to miss Buzzcocks though, last time I saw them was over twenty years ago.
