So, anybody from the forum going to Killarney? The Swedepack - Mats, Johan and Per are going there and it would be great to meet some Medusans before the show. Suggestions about a good pub are welcome.

I'll be there! But not in a pub before the gig, because we booked "Christmas Party Night with The Pogues"-offer"of Gleneagle Hotel: "1 night B&B plus Xmas Party with The Pogues to include Drinks Reception, Four Course Gala Banquet, Live Entertainment with The Pogues, Dancing until late with Resident DJ."

There will be a lot of Swedes in Killarney... :D

Mmmmmm......... That all sounds very formal. I wonder will Terry and James come around to all the tables and serenade you :D

Also, is it compulsory to dance with the DJ or could you dance with your girlfriend / boyfriend (delete as applicable).

Haha, it is great to see the difference how I, with my poor English, and a native read the text copied from the booking confirmation :D

For me the key words were "Pogues", "Drinks" and "Food". What else you need for a perfect evening? ...Oh yes, the DJ! (Please, let him be a good-looking one! ;))

Your English is probably better than mine! You'll have a great time.

If your staying at the Gleneagle, you will probably get a slightly nicer room if you ask when your checking in to be put in the new wing of the hotel. The Hotel/Venue is a bit out of town, but if any of you are looking to go for a drink, I'd recommend the failte inn, in the square. If your around on Sunday afternoon you might even get a bit of live trad.
