I can't believe nobody has started this yet.

Is anyone going or is it just me?

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to meet up before the show?

I'm going....last year i was in a weatherspoons pub (well i think it was) whcih was near the Hippodrome probably a 10 minute walk from the venue. There were other Pogues fans in their but i sat at the bar in my Pogue Mahone T shirt, just taking in the ambience. It was funny though, a couple of older ladies were standing next to me and came out with the classic "What doe Pogue Mahone mean" i nearly fell off my stool.
Anyway this year it is a Saturday and an early start, so i am open to suggestions. I must admit i never saw anyone last year, i normally bump into "wolvespogue" and "Rumsodomyandthelash" is usually around too, but did not see either of them.

I'll be in Brum,so thats 3 of us that will be there!Do i need to wear a carnation or carry a 2 year old copy of The Grauniad in order to be recognised?

We'll work something out.

There are loads of pics of me on the photos page so I should be easily recognisable. Swapping phone numbers is usually a good idea also.

We just have to work out what time we're going to meet and where.

I'll be at Brum. Never been to the new venue so any suggestions of pre gig watering holes would be more than welcome!

I'll be there before and after the gig, the weatherspoons over the road from the hippodrome , it is handy, its a big pub and is capable of handling the crowd, there are others but i reckon definatley pre gig this is the one , see you there, can't wait as always, it wont be long now

The Fox would be my first choice but it will be packed, at least it was last year but its easy enough to have a look , maybe have a pint in there and move on

Sounds good to me. I've just looked up the Old Fox on Bing, it's not too far from New Street Station (which is good because I'm staying by there).

Anyway if anyone fancies it, Jake and I will be going to the Wetherspoons by New Street Station first for a meal. Unless you can suggest anywhere better, that is.
