Just Birmingham at the moment. I was toying with Killarney, but I've been there before and am perfectly aware of the journey time from here. I thought about Manchester seriously, but even if I manage to get the day off for it, Jake can't get time off around Christmas and although he finishes at 3pm, it would be a bit tight to get to.

Hello mate, I'm travelling from the sunny North East as well, monkey hanging land Been across to Manc a few times to see The Pogues and when I have I've had a cracking time in a couple of boozers collectively known as the shambles, easy enough to find, when sober at least, enjoy!

Oxford Road area is the best option for a drink bearing in mind the venue. Shambles square is fine for the Arena but miles from the Apollo.
